1. P6 9.2 External changed (Same as for ratio)

   • Eg: A box contained a number of square and round cookies. 40% of these cookies are round. After removing 55 sqare and 1- round cookies, the number of sqiare cookies became 70% as many as the number of round cookies. How many cookies were there at first?
   • How to do it?
     • 1, Use different label for different sets ratios i.e units for beginning and parts for end
     • 2. The units at the end are different sizes and will be called parts.
     • 3. Make the end (parts) the same by using lowest common multiple.
     • 4. Draw the model representing the same number of parts for each amount drawn.
     • 5. From here, the different units and numbers can be compared across the same parts.
