1. The first stage is eggs.This is where a little butterfly lays eggs. She puts them on a sheet.

2. The second stage is the caterpillar. This is where eggs are born. It takes about five days for the eggs to hatch. A caterpillar then comes out.

3. Once it has grown all the way, the third stage begins. This stage is the chrysalis. The caterpillar makes a chrysalis. The caterpillar is inside the chrysalis. Inside the chrysalis, it begins to change. It soon transforms into a butterfly.

4. Once the caterpillar has been transformed into a butterfly, the fourth stage begins. This is also the last stage in the life cycle. The fourth stage is the butterfly. A butterfly comes out of the chrysalis. Now you can learn to fly. You can also find a partner. When he finds a partner, he lays eggs. Then the lifecycle process begins again.
