Phishing
- Phishing is a type of virus that posed as a trusted business to make the user share their details such as: credit card details, bank account numbers, login credentials and other sensitive data.
- To prevent phishing scams, you should add or enable your anti-spam filters. This will block emails from being sent to you most of the time

Trojan Horse
- Trojan Horse is a malicious programme that causes users to download it when they are unaware that it is dangerous. They hide the attackers true motive by disguising itself as something friendly.
DDoS Attack
- A DDos Attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server or website. The server will be more likely to crash due to multiple computers to attack
- To prevent a DDoS attack, create a DDoS prevention plan by going through a security assessment.

Computer Worms
- Computer Worms are quite dangerous software that spreads from one computer to another to create botnets. Most of the time, they don’t target files.
DDoS Attack
- SQL Injection is a code injection technique to allow the attackers to tamper with existing data or spoof identity by exploiting a security vulnerability in the victim’s computer.
Social Engineering
- Social engineering is where you manipulate unsuspected users to give up confidential information. Criminals usually want your passwords and bank information or even your whole computer.
Brute Force Attack
- Brute Force Attack is an aggressive attack that hackers use to guess the victims password.
- To prevent this, people have to enable two step verification which is a system that is added. This system will make it so an attacker would have to pass the second verification test such as a code going to the user's email which they may not have access to. Make sure that you also have a strong password that contains different characters so that its harder for the hacker to get access. You can also enable a locking method which will prevent the hacker from trying to guess your password after multiple tries
