CSS: Cascading Style Sheets
Style Language
- Used to define the presentation of documents written in a markup language, such as HTML or XML.
Benefits
- It is to provide the separation between the format and the content of a document.
LINK
- Instead of placing the formatting inside the document, the developer creates a link (link) to a file containing the styles, in an identical way for all the pages of a portal. When you want to change the appearance of the portal, just modify one file.
Browsers
- More modern browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have greater support, including even CSS3, still in development.
- Internet Explorer 6 has full support for CSS1 and practically null for CSS2.
