1. Errors

   • A dificiency in linguistic knowledge, you don´t know the correct grammar structure, you can´t correct yourself
     • Causes
       • anything that interfere in your information retrieval:anger, fatigue, excitement, indiference
         • systematicity: errors often follow discernable patterns, they can be predicted and studied
     • Sources of error
       • Interlingual
         • first language interferes with production of L2
       • Intralingual
         • learn a rule in L2 and generalize it or apply it incorrectly
       • Simplification
         • Reduction or elimination of plural forms
       • Induced
         • Insuficcient or incorrect explanation of the instructor
       • Environmental
         • Exposed to deviations on her/his environment like movie dialogue or songs lyrics
     • Area of language affected
       • Structure
         • Syntax, phonology,phonetics, and morphology
       • Lexicon
         • word choice, strong implication of meaning
       • writing structure
         • not using correct capitalization, or puntuaction
       • Discourse
         • the appropriateness of lenguage in given situations, words, structures, etc. that are ok in one situation, and it will not be ok in anohter
