  1. Functions

    • Manipulate data
    • Analyze data
      • Texts
      • Formulas
        • SUMIF
          • With the SUMIF function you can add cells that meet a specific criteria. The formula is: SUMARIF (range, criterion, [range_sum])
        • VLOOKUP
          • The VLOOKUP function is a search and reference function. It is used to perform a vertical search for a value in the leftmost column of a table or selection and return the value in the same row. The formula is: = VLOOKUP (the search value, the sheet and its columns where to perform the search, the column number of the values to extract and the matching parameter).
        • IF
          • Allows you to make logical comparisons between a value and a result that you expect. Because of this, an IF statement can have two results. The first result is if the comparison is True and the second if the comparison is False. The formula is: IF (logical_test, value_if_true, value_if_false)
        • AVERAGE
          • Excel's Average function calculates the arithmetic mean of a data series. That is, it adds all the values of the variable that we are analyzing and divides them by the number of added values. Formula: AVERAGE
        • COUNTIF
          • The COUNTIF function counts the number of cells that contain numbers and counts the numbers within the argument list.
        • SUM
          • The SUM function sums values. You can sum individual values, cell references or ranges, or a combination of all three.
      • Numerics
  2. Uses

    • Organization of data (numerical or text) in spreadsheets
    • Automatically analyze notes, with predesigned formats
    • Apply formats to see data in context
    • Graph data with ease
    • Use bars, colors and icons
  3. Basic tools

    • HOME
      • Here we can modify the font of our text, its size, if we want to make it bold, italic or underlined. We can also modify its color, create tables, adjust the text, etc.
    • INSERT
      • It takes care of all the commands that allow you to insert an object or element into a document such as graphs, tables, images, etc.
    • FORMULAS
      • It is through this bar that we can enter the content of a cell as well as modify it, it also facilitates the insertion of formulas within the program.
