Audio-lingual method

1. Language program that contains the fundamental elements of phonology, morphology, and syntax of the language organized according to the order of presentation.

2. Characteristics

   • -The fundamental medium is oral.
     • -Get the student to express himself / herself with phrases and without errors.
       • -One of the first activities is repetition.
         • -The complex vocabulary is based on images, objects and photographs.

3. Weaknesses

   • -The student is more interested in pronunciation than in grammar.

4. Strengths

   • -The apprentice approaches the way of speaking to that of a native of this.
     • -The learner acquires fluency in speaking.
       • -Each student understands and learns at their own pace.
