   • 2. Mutiply numerators, multiply denominators

2. Multiplying

   • 1. Mutiply numerators, multiply denominators

3. Adding

   • 1. Need common denominator
   • 2. Lowest Common Multiple
   • 3. Add the numerators, do not add denominators!

4. Subtracting

   • 1. Need common denominator
   • 2. Lowest Common Multiple
   • 3. Subtract the numerators, do not subtract denominators!

5. Simplifying: Can my answer be simplified? Is there a common factor for the numerator and denominator?

6. Proper Fraction = numerator less than denominator Improper Fraction = numerator greater than denominator Mixed Fraction = whole number + proper fraction
