2. WIMP's

   • W - Windows, the screen is divided into areas called windows
   • I - Icons, small pictures used to represent commands or programmes
   • M - Menus, aloow the user to make selections from a list, they can be drop down or pop up so they don't obscure the window
   • P - Pointers, use to select items and maipulate them
