     • 392 graduates from American high school
       • Over a 50 years period shown photos from HS yearbook
         • For each photo they were asked to select the name that matched the person
   • Results
     • 14 years after graduation: pps were 90% correct
       • 47 years after graduation: 60% accurate
   • Conclusion
     • People can remember certain types of information for almost a lifetime

     • Word were placed into categories
       • Acoustically similar words
       • Acoustically dissimilar words
       • Semantically similar words
       • Semantically dissimilar words
       • STM study: pps asked immediately after to recall order of a list of 5 words
         • LTM study: pps asked to recall 10 words 20 minutes after
