Variables - A location in a computer program where values and data are stored.
Constants - A data value that doesn't change as long as the program is running.
Parameter - A value that is passed into a function or procedure.
Procedure - A section of computer code that performs a specific task
Execute - Running a computer program.
Field - A database where one piece of information is stored.
Function - A function can produce information about
Concatenation - Joining 2 or more segments of data together e.g. "snow" + "ball" = "snowball".
Algorithm - A logical sequence of steps that go about solving a problem or completing a task.
Summary: Data types are separated by modules, these modules can be divided into sub sections called functions and procedures.
The computer executes these commands .

IF
ELSE IF
ELSE
SELECT CASE
Boolean - True or false statement.
Nested - Information is organized in layers, or where objects contain other similar objects.
If is used as a selection word which skips the unnecessary steps.
If the statement is true, one set of coding will run.
If false, the other set will run.

2.2 Condensed Notes
While - If the statement is currently running.
For - e.g for counter in range (1,10)
Counter - A number of times the instruction will be repeated. Counter Controlled
Iteration - Testing as you go along.
EOF - End of file. (Once you have finished putting text / information into a file.)
EOL - End of line (coding).
Commit - Making changes made into a permanent feature onto the device
Append - To add on
Overwrite - replacing old information with new information.
Tabulation - Processing data by putting it in a table.
Serialisation - translating data structures or object state into a format that can be stored and or transfered.
Deserialisation - Changing the data from a stored format to raw text / data.

To get the length of a string:
stringname.length
Opperators:
UPPER("hello") turns into "HELLO"
LOWER("HELLO") turns into "hello"
"/n"
"/t" gives spaces for the text.
we use a " /' " when using apostrophes.
print ("It looks like he/'s fine")
"It looks like he's fine")
