1. If f(x) is a polynomial and f(a) = 0 , then (x - a) is a factor of f(x)
2. If f(x) s a polynomial and f(b/a) = 0 ,then (ax - b) id a factor of f(x)
3. If a polynomial f(x) is divided by (ax - b) then the remainder is f(b/a)
