project info - group id(company name), artifacttId( application Name), version(version#), packaging(Kind of packaging)

Dependencies - Direct dependiencies in application

Build - plugins to build our code + Directory structure(if we want to change the defaults)

Repositories - where we what to download our dependencies from.

Goals - clean, compile, package, install, deploy.

By Default we`ll have the jar by name of artifact name , we can override it by adding finalName in build tag.

For example this way our jar name would be artifact and then version .jar, but we can want t it to be just artifact.

6 scopes - compile - defaultvailable everywhere

package - available everywhere but last packageed artifcat.

runtime - needed only at runtime. like jdbc driver asnand all. (remember class.fforName)

test - only for test

system - file path to the jar file

import - some advanced concept.
