Percentage Change
When a quantity increases/decreases we can find the percentage change by using the formula,
difference/original x 100
Example
e.g. Brianna buys a car for £5000. She sells it later for £3500. What is her percentage change?
Working:
5000 - 3500 = 1500
1500/5000 x 100 = 30%
(1500 is the difference and 5000 is the original price)
