Future tense-inkathi ezayo
Indicates that actions will happen after this moment iveza ukuthi isenzo sizokwenzeka emuva kwalomzuzu
Always look for the verb
Add "zo" in between the subject concord and the verb e.g Ngizohamba nabazali bami
"Zo" can also go in between a verb prefix and a verb e.g ULinda uzohamba kusasa
If the sentence has "ya" e.g Ngiyahamba then you replace "ya" with "zo" e.g Ngizohamba
"Zo" is similar to the English word "will". It appears after the subject concord and before the object concord.
Future tense can be positive or negative inkathi ezayo ingavuma noma iphike
Positive evumayo
Subject + will+ verb....
You will write the exam
Inhloko+ zo + isenzo...
Uzobhala isivivinyo
2. Negative ephikayo
Subject +will not+ verb
You will not write the exam
Inhloko+ zu+ isenzo
Awuzukubhala isivivinyo
"Zu" is similar to the English word "will not".
