When Multiplying fractions
1. Convert to Fractions
2. Multiply numerator and denominator
3. Cancel Down

Multiplying Mixed Fractions
1. Convert to Improper Fractions
2. If possible simplify fractions
3. Multiply the numerators and then the denominators.
4. Ensure answer is in lowest terms (simplify)
5. If necessary write back into Mixed Fraction or decimal never leave answer as an improper fraction!
