To ask questions in french, we use three different techniques:

1: Swap around the verb with the subject, for example;

"Vous habitez a Paris" Is a fact.

"Habitez - Vous a Paris?" Is a question.

* REMEMBER THE - *

2: Put "Est - ce que" at the beginning of your question, for example;

"Tu aimes le sport" Is a fact.

"Est - ce que tu aimes le sport?" Is a question.

* Keep everything, but just add Est - ce que *

3: Raise your voice at the end of the sentence in order to turn it into a question.

* This technique is SPOKEN only *
