Atomic Mass and Atomic Number
Atomic mass:
- The sum of the number of protons and the number of neutrons in an atom.
- It is the average weight of an element.
- Atomic mass cannot be be used to define the type of element.
- Atomic mass is mostly measured using atomic mass unit
