Calculating with Ratio

When solving ratio problems remember to reduce one of the ratios to one.

Recipe

This is the recipe for 8 biscuits:

80g of butter

100g of sugar

2 eggs

120g of flour

How much flour is needed for 12 biscuits

8 biscuits need 120g of flour

1 biscuit needs 120/8 (divided) = 15g

12 biscuits need 12 x 15

=180g

And do thyis for the rest of them....
