Lecture 1 notes

• State transformation
• State transformation is when a state changes - e.g. a human walks across the bridge - there is a new state transformation.
• We need to identify the start state, and goal state.
• State space
• The start state, state transformations and end state are collectively known together as the State Space - this is all the possible states of a problem process.
• State Space Search
• You start at the start state, transition through a specific iteration of the state transformations until you finally get to the end state.
