Assessments

• There are many different methods of assessment that can be used in your VET Subjects.
• Courses will have assessments that are built based on the factors, such as:
• Student needs
• Competency requirements
• Evidence being collected

Third Party

• Some courses require you to complete a component of your course in an industry workplace. This is referred to as being on Industry Work Placement (IWP).
• Typically, your trainer/assessor will conduct a workplace visit to ensure you are progressing satisfactorily and collect supporting evidence.
• This assessment approach collects evidence through a report completed by, or a conversation with the supervisor in the workplace.
• This approach allows us to assess required skills in an industry environment.
