• - dynamic CMOS operates in two phases : pre-charge and evaluation (operation is determined by the clock)
• pros: speed (less transistors, lower capacitance), density
• - good for CPUs, microprocessors, memory
• cons: charge leakage, clock dependency, sensitivity to noise
