• Graphology can be used to determine genre.
• For example, newspaper front pages often feature;
• bold headlines
• columned text
• headings (title of newspaper)
• black background with white text
• pictures (often on the right)
• date of publication
• additional information at the bottom of the page
• different colours for different stories
• taglines (smaller font than headline and often in sentence cases to add visual variety)
