- There is no topic in mathematics that has been the subject of more educational research than fractions.
- There is no topic which causes as much difficulty to both school students and adults alike than fractions.
- The reason for this state of affairs is the way fractions are taught; basically giving learners a bag full of rules and boring practise using them.
- There are thousands of youtube videos and other internet resources offering to make you a fraction ninja, by what method? Repeating the same old rules.
- The problem with this is - use it or loose it!
- At maths4me we believe this situation will continue until language is given more prominence
