GoConqr OriginalWhat the resources cover

Other decks move into conversation. Introductions and conversations, basic French. covers names, how you are and where you live. French (15 Questions) 8 asks for age, date of birth and phone number. The deck Let's learn some French! adds pronunciation guides such as Salut and Merci.
Where to start
- Begin with a greetings deck such as Greetings and Exclamations and say each word aloud.
- Move to an introductions deck and practise asking and answering, for example how are you and what is your name.
- Try French everyday words and phrases for useful replies, such as asking someone to speak more slowly.
- Finish with a quiz to check what stuck.
Using quizzes and mind maps together
The quiz Useful French phrases asks you to fill in French for opinions such as in my opinion and I think that. Other quizzes, including Introductions and French Vocab - Personal information, test the basics of introducing yourself. Take one before you study to see what you miss, then again afterwards.
The mind map Phrases in French explains when to use Bonjour and what to do on a second meeting that day, with a smile, a nod or a small wave. Mind maps such as Greetings & Farewells suit a quick overview before you drill the cards.
For teachers
Teachers can pick a deck or quiz and set it as a starter or a recap. The resources were made by GoConqr users, so skim each one first to check it fits your class.
