About intelligence and creativity notes

GoConqr Original

Using intelligence and creativity notes

The notes on this page offer several routes through the unit. Models of Intelligence introduces a psychometric model, while Approaches to Describing Intelligence includes Gardner’s theory, information processing and emotional intelligence. Other notes look at assessment, including the challenges of constructing a culturally neutral test.

For a starting point, try Models of Intelligence to get a view of one model before comparing it with the approaches in the second note. The notes on Margaret Boden offer a different focus: creativity and ideas that are novel, surprising and valuable.

Move between formats

As you read, write down the terms used in each note and compare how the resources describe them. Return to a passage when a distinction is unclear. For a visual overview, switch to a mind map on the unit page; use flashcards there when you want to revisit terms. Pick a note and follow the ideas that interest you.
