About situation ethics flashcards

GoConqr Original

Using Situation Ethics flashcards

Start with Situation Ethics for an outline that includes conscience, moral decisions and fundamental principles. It gives you several terms to revisit before you move to a more focused deck. For definitions, the cards in Situation ethics definitions offer another place to practise.

To work on the principles, open The Four Working Principles or Fletcher's 6 Fundamental Principles. The former covers pragmatism, relativism, positivism and personalism; the latter includes statements about love and justice.

From recall to evaluation

After reviewing a card, cover its answer and try to explain the idea in your own words. Return to any cards you find difficult. Situation Ethics (general evaluation) offers prompts about strengths and responses to them, while Sex Ethics - Situation ethics asks how the approach applies to particular issues.

For a different way to organise or check your learning, switch to a mind map or quiz on the unit page. Choose a deck to explore first.
