About speaking and presentations notes
GoConqr OriginalUsing Speaking and Presentations notes
The notes on this page cover several ways to study speaking. Some look at spoken language, including face theory and how speech can be adapted to an audience. Others focus on public speaking, presentation introductions, signposting and speaking about pictures.
For a presentation, start with Speaking in a presentation, which covers introducing yourself and the speaker. Then read Signposting for final presentation for language that helps give a talk a sequence. If you want discussion prompts instead, Agreeing and Disagreeing offers topics to talk about.
Move from reading to speaking
Read a short section, then close the note and explain the idea aloud. For picture practice, use the notes on speaking part two to plan a comparison and give your opinion. If you want a visual overview or a quick check afterwards, switch to a mind map or quiz on the unit page.
Choose a note and try explaining one point in your own words.

Which note should I start with for a presentation?
