About spreadsheets notes

GoConqr Original

Using these spreadsheets notes

The notes offer different ways into spreadsheet work. Spreadsheet definitions explains terms including functions and formulas. Excel (Theory) covers how formulas begin and how to refer to cells. There are also separate notes on relative and absolute referencing examples.

For an introduction, start with Spreadsheet definitions and make a short list of unfamiliar terms. Then read Excel (Theory) alongside it to see how some of those terms are used. If you want to focus on a particular task, the notes include Excel shortcuts, worksheet hiding and text-to-speech features.

Move between formats

After reading a note, try recalling its main points without looking. Return to the relevant section when a term or step is unclear. If you want a different way to check your understanding, switch to a quiz or flashcards on the Spreadsheets unit page. Pick a note that matches the skill you want to practise.
