About the sun quizzes

GoConqr Original

What the Sun quizzes cover

These quizzes ask about the Sun’s layers and atmosphere, as well as fusion, solar flares and sunspots. One quiz asks you to put the layers in order and identify which gives off X-ray light. Another asks about the photosphere and the atmosphere above the chromosphere.

Choose a starting point

For practice with the Sun’s structure, start with the quiz that asks you to label its layers. If you want to focus on solar activity, try the quiz with questions about flares and sunspots. For a different challenge, another quiz asks about helioseismology and the tachocline.

After taking a quiz, revisit the questions you found difficult. If you need a different way to review a topic, switch to a mind map or flashcards on the unit page, then return to the quiz. Choose a topic and give it a try.

Frequently asked questions

Which quiz should I start with?
