- 8Why was he executed?After the failed marriage between Anne of Cleves and Henry, Cromwell was in a vulnerable position. A faction formed against him and Catherine Howard spread talk that he was not carrying out the divorce quick enough. This angered Henry enough to give the order for execution.

- 13Why had Wolsey lost Henry's confidence by 1529?His failure to secure a divorce from Catherine of Aragon.
