  1. Most taken to ghettos but able-bodied taken to slavoury

1. Invasion of Russia
  1. 3 million Jews captured plus mass shootings
2. Concentration camps became death camps
1941
1. Old,sick,young killed immediately. Able-bodied taken to slave labour
  1. 6 million Jews + 500,000 gypsies,gays,polish,russians,communists etc worked to death, gassed or shot
1942
1. Ghettos end
1945
1. By 1945, the Einsatzgruppen(execution squad) had killed over 1.5 million Jews,gypsies etc...
The War
1. No longer concerned by other nations views
2. Demand for 'solution' becomes bigger
3. Millions of Jews come under german control
Facts
1. 25,000-30,000 ghettos
2. Warsaw ghetto- 2.4% of Warsaw's land held 1/3 of its population
3. Poland had 6 major concentration camps and over 150 sub-camps while Germany had 15 major camps and over 700 sub-camps
