1. Disadvantages

   • More likely to get hacked since it is on the internet
   • May run into server downtimes meaning you cant access your data whenever you want.
   • Limited control on the service since the customer doesn't control what the application does but the servicer provider does.
   • Can be expensive since more files require more server storage, therefore, leading to a higher monthly payment.

2. Types of Services

   • Storage- allowing your data to be stored remotely on the host's servers
   • Infrastructure-You can pay to use the host's hardware
   • Processing- this means that you could run complicated programs remotely
   • Software- you can pay to use the software remotely

3. Advantages

   • Saves your data to the cloud so you can't lose it until you delete it meaning it is non-volatile.
   • Cost effective since you don't need to pay for materialized files
   • Unlimited storage
   • Can be accessed anywhere on any device with an internet connection so it is very reliable and mobile
