1. Types of service

   • Storage - allowing data to be stored remotely on the host's server
   • Software - no need to buy and own a copy of the software and install it locally on your computer
   • Computer Processing - run complicated programs remotely
   • Infrastructure - you can pay to use the host's hardware

2. Disadvantages

   • You must have an internet connection to access the stored data, processing power, software orinfrastructure
   • Cloud storage can be vulnerable to hacking
   • You are dependant on the host company for providing security and backups
   • Cloud computing services can be expensive

3. Advantages

   • Can be accessed on any device that has an internet connection
   • It is easy to increase the amount of storage or infrastructure available
   • Security and backups are managed by the host company
   • Cloud software is updated manually
   • There is no need to pay the iT staff to manage the hardware

4. This is the delivery of computing services over the internet. The files and applications are hosted by the cloud computing provider and can be accessed from anywhere you have an internet connection
