LIVING THINGS
  1. NUTRITION
    1. The way an organism gets its food.
      1. Animals get their food by eating plants or other animals
      2. RESPIRATION
        1. Living things break down food in their cells to supply themselves with energy
        2. EXCRETION
          1. Animals excrete waste products such as salts, water and CO2
          2. GROWTH
            1. If a living thing is only made of one cell then growth means that the cell gets bigger
              1. For living things made of many cells (such as humans and trees) growth involves cells dividing to form new cells
              2. REPRODUCTION
                1. Reproduction is needed to prevent each living thing from dying out (or becoming extinct).
                2. MOVEMENT
                  1. It is easy to see animals move as they run,fly,walk etc.
                    1. Plants however move very very slowly overtime
                    2. RESPONCE
                      1. Animals respond to changes such as hearing a loud noice or seeing something dangerous
                        1. Plants move much more slowly by growing towards or away from light or gravity
