- 1—Facebook is a social app where you can share ideas, feelings, thoughts, where you are and what you are doing.
You can follow other people and groups of interest - for example, music tastes. - 2—Twitter is a place where you can share thoughts and opinions. It is restricted to 140 characters. You can also add image and video content. You can follow others and share their posts with your followers.
- 3—Instagram is an image sharing website. However, as with Twitter and Facebook, you can follow others and share their content as well as your own.
You can comment and add your opinions.
- 4—Snapchat is an image sharing space that allows you to edit your drawings, photographs and video with easy to apply cartoon effects. As with other social apps, you can write text and add a video. You only have 10 seconds to view the image
- 5—Pinterest is an app that allows you to collect images and categories them. Imagine a pinboard of your favourite football players, music artists or famous explorers. People use this for inspiration for their own projects or to share their work with others.
- 6—LinkedIn is like Facebook for jobs.
You can add a profile, CV and job history. You can also look for work, take courses and join interest groups that are relevant to your industry. It's a great place to network and find alternative ways into a company or sector of interest.
- 7—TikTok is a video editing and sharing app.
As with the other apps, you can create your own content or find and follow people or groups that interest you. One of the biggest follows on TikTok has been people dancing in various styles!
