- 1Bubble sortStart from the left
First two numbers are compared and then swapped so the larger number is on the right
Next two numbers are swapped on so on until the end of the set of numbers
This is the first pass
Algorithm continues until a pass happens where no swaps take place
The larger numbers literally bubble to the top. - 2Merge SortThe list is split apart in to its individual numbers and then put back together again in order
