Fitness Facilities By law, coaches and personal trainers must follow regulations (rules) to help keep themselves and other people they work with safe and well. Baseline Assessment Clients are asked questions on their lifestyle, health and fitness.
Lifestyle 1) this is the way a person lives their life. 2) It includes what food a person eats, how much alcohol they drink, how many cigarettes they smoke, the amount of exercise they do and how much stress they are under. Health 1) Health is a state of complete mental, physical and social well-being. 2) A person's health may relate to any medicines they are taking. 3) Health also relates to someone's history e.g. if they've been pregnant.
Fitness 1) Fitness is a measure of how well you cn perform physical tasks. 2) It includes the following things: Aerobic fitness and strength. Lifestyle Factors Affect Fitness The following lifestyle factors can have a negative effect on your fitness: food, drink, amount of exercise and stress.
Baseline Assessment - Basic Tests Includes: Age, gender, height, pulse rate, body temperature, blood pressure (with a sphygmomanometer), aerobic fitness, body mass index.

Organisations involved in health care include: hospitals, health centers. People involved in Health Care: a doctor, a nurse, dentists, opticians.
The Female Reproductive System - makes eggs The female body changes during pregnancy and birth.
Antenatal Care women get antenatal care while they are pregnant. Antenatal care involves lots of tests and appointments to check health and the health of the baby. Post-Natal Care a baby gets post-natal care after it is born. it involves checking and testing the baby to make sure it's healthy.

Good Laboratory Practice results need to be reliable, good laboratory practice increases reliability. Taking Samples Samples need to be carefully collected, stored and prepared. Sampling living organisms can help to monitor climate change.
TOPIC 4 - PROTECTING THE PUBLIC Scientists Protecting the Public Public analysts work in consumer protection and need scientific background.
Colorimetry Colorimeters measure the intensity of colour. Samples are compared to standard reference solutions. Chromatography Chromatography can be used to detect forgeries, unknown compounds are compared to reference material.
