Who was the King? How did he react? King Victor Emmanuel Fearful of communism, he invited Mussolini to form a coalition and become Prime Minister

What did Mussolini destroy between 1922 and 1926? Italian democracy
What did he bring in in 1923? Acerbo Law to change the electoral system
What did this mean? The party with the most votes would automatically get 66% of seats in Assembly
What did the Fascists do? Intimidated other parties brutally, mainly Socialists
What did Mussolini change government from and into? Democracy to dictatorship
