Volatile means... It will lose it's memory when it loses power
S-RAM and D-RAM are? Static Ram and Dynamic Ram
Static RAM means? S-RAM retains data bits in its memory as long as power is being supplied.
Dynamic RAM is? The most common type of computer memory. Most all volatile memory is dynamic RAM because it uses only one transistor and one storage capacitor for each bit.
Purpose of Ram Used by the programs that are running. Programs use the memory to store information required to run the software. Used to store instructions that are sent to the CPU to be decoded and executed
Purpose of ROM ROM stores the instructions for the computer to start up when it is turned on again (Boot up program).
