5Appositive phraseNoun (phrase) that renames the noun next to it.
Ex. My mom, A BAD COOK, burnt the cake.
6Noun phraseContains a noun and its modifiers
Ex. THEIR BROWN DOG likes it.
7Verb phraseContains a verb
Ex. The dog RAN.
8Prepositional phraseBegins with a preposition and end with a noun
Ex. I like to eat AT HOME.
9Adverbial phraseAdverb answers a question
Ex. I waited FOR AN HOUR.
10Adjective phraseSays something about a noun
Ex. She is RATHER FOND OF KITTENS.
