Cards in this deck (17)
- 1AgentAn independent program that performs data processing or data collecting tasks on your behalf
- 2Artificial IntelligenceA system that can model human thinking to imitate some human ability or behaviour
- 3DataRaw facts without any clear meaning.
The five main types of data used by computer systems are text, numerical, graphic, audio and animation/video. - 4DemonAn independent program that is activated by a specific event and runs automatically
- 5Expert SystemA computer system that stores the knowledge of a human expert in a particular area. An expert system is used to solve problems when no human expert is available
- 6FormulaAn equation using arithmetic operators, constant and variable values.
- 7HeuristicsAn approach to problem solving that uses general rules, guideline or probabilities instead of specific detailed instructions.
- 8IntelligenceThe ability to reason, communicate, make predictions and decisions, experience emotions and empathy towards others
- 9Intelligent SystemA computer system that uses artificial intelligence
- 10Knowledge BaseA database that stores the rules that an expert system follows to solve problem
- 11ModelA simplified description of a real-world system or process
- 12Neural NetworkA computer network that's been designed to operation the same way as the human brain. Neural networks are capable of learning.
- 13SimulationUse of a model to predict the behaviour of a real-world system
- 14SimulatorA simulation that runs on specifically designed hardware
- 15Turing TestA test for artificial intelligence.
A person uses text messages to communicate with either another person or a computer. If the person is unable tell the difference between the two, the computer program is displaying artificial intelligence. - 16VariableA general name for a data value thatch be changed by a program. In programming, a variable is the name given to a location used to store data.
- 17What-if predictionMaking a change to the value of at listen variable to see its effecting model or simulation
