Safeguarding To protect from harm or damage with an appropriate measure
Policies A course or principle of action adopted or proposed by an organisation or individual
Confidentiality Strict privacy or secrecy. Limited to persons authorised to use or know information
E-safety The knowledge of maximizing the user's personal safety and security risks to private information and property associated with using the internet, and the self-protection from computer crime in general.
Agencies A business or organisation providing a particular service (e.g. health care, education, social care, police service etc)
Security Procedures followed or measures taken to ensure the security of a state or organisation
Evidence The available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.
Legislation Laws, considered collectively.
