Question Answer
Reproduction Reproduction (or procreation, breeding) is the biological process by which new individual organisms – "offspring" – are produced from their "parents".
Whats reproduction? Reproduction is the process by which new organisms are generated.
Why is Reproduction Important to Living Things? Without the means of making more individuals, a species wouldn’t be able to proliferate or survive from generation to generation.
Vegetative Reproduction Vegetative reproduction is a type of asexual reproduction in plants that relies not on spores, but on multi-cellular structures formed by the parent plant.
Fertilization Fertilization is the union of the nucleus of a sperm cell with the nucleus of an egg cell producing a zygote.
Internal fertilization Internal fertilization is when sperm are deposited in or close to the female reproductive tract and gametes unite within the female’s body.
Zygotes and Blastocysts The fertilized egg, which is diploid, that results from the union of the sperm cell nucleus and an egg cell nucleus is called a zygote.
Reproductive Rate Reproductive rate is the average lifetime number of offspring produced by a member of a population, or the average number of offspring each adult is expected to produce.
A breed of pupies In domestic canines, sexual maturity (puberty) occurs between the ages of 6 to 12 months for both males and females, although this can be delayed until up to two years of age for some large breeds.
Humans reproduction Human reproduction takes place as internal fertilisation by sexual intercourse.
Plant reproduction. Plant reproduction is the production of new individuals or offspring in plants, which can be accomplished by sexual or asexual reproduction.
why reproduce? If you are an organism, you will need to reproduce. Otherwise, there will be no more of your species and the species will die off.
The reproductive system is a collection of internal organs and external genitalia that work together to generate new life.
Every human spent about half an hour as a single cell (zygote)!!
What is the function of the reproductive system? The female reproductive system has two functions: The first is to produce egg cells, and the second is to protect and nourish the offspring until birth. The male reproductive system has one function, and it is to produce and deposit sperm.
Animals reproduce in one of two ways. In asexual reproduction, animals produce young, which are identical to themselves, without mating with another animal.
During fertilization, a male sex cell (sperm) and a female sex cell (ovum) unite to produce a cell that will grow into a new animal.
Many animals reproduce through internal fertilization.
Elephants Are Pregnant For Nearly 2 Years
to conclude we all need reproduction or else we wouldnt be here
