What's an IP address? The IP address is assigned when the device logs into the network. Every node on a network must have a unique IP address.
What's a MAC address? This means Media Access Control It is written into the network adapts when a device is made.
What is a protocol? Protocols are the rules to be followed by devices using and transmitting on the network.
