What gender is Allah? Allah is thought to be genderless because maleness and femaleness are human qualities and therefore will limit God's nature.
What is the root meaning of Islam? The root meaning is "surrender" or "submission"
What does Muslim mean? One who surrenders
What are the five pillars Shahadah Salat Zakat Sawm Hajj
What is Shahadah? The Shahadah is an Islamic creed declaring belief in the oneness of God and the acceptance of Muhammad as God's prophet.
What is Salat? It is a ritual where it is performed in prayers five times each day. They must perform Wudha, a ritual washing before prayer. The prayer must be performed on a rug or in a mosque.
What is Zakat? It is paying an alms to benefit the poor and the needy. Muslims must give 2.5% of their income each year to support the poor.
What is Sawm? It is a ritual where Muslims must fast from dawn until dusk during Ramadan on the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
What is Hajj? It is a pilgrimage to Mecca, that is required at least once in a Muslim's life. The religious significance is that Allah forgives the sins of those who make the journey.
Who is Muhammad? Muslims believe that Muhammad was the last and final Messenger of God to be sent to humanity. He was sent to complete the mission of the previous Messengers of calling people to believing in God and following the guidance and teachings of God.

What is the sacred text of Islam It is the Qur'an. It is originally written in Arabic. It is about four-fifths of the New Testament and is divided into 114 suras.
What is the Qur'an's literal meaning? Its literal meaning is reading.
What is the main symbol of Islam? The Cresent and the star
What is the place of worship The Mosque
What is the religious day? Friday
What is an adhan? It is the caller of prayers.
