Some reasons you can't always run your own experiments or take your own observations and data. 1. Many experiments require training that is well beyond year 8 science 2. Many experiments require equipment that is not available at school because of its expense, size and maintenance problems.
More reasons 3. Other experiments take far more time than is available in year 8 science 4. Other observations can only be made in swamps, on top of mountains, in Antarctica or under the sea.
What is an imprint page? A page that includes all relevant data about a book such as a publisher and date of publication.
True or False: Data can be trusted as accurate from scientific text books or encyclopedias but can't be trusted from magazines such as New Scientist or COSMOS. False Both can be accurate and reliable sources of data but magazines such as New Scientist or COSMOS can be newer sources than encyclopedias or scientific textbooks.
