1. PC/deskopt computers

   • Advantages: Spare parts and connectiones tend to be standardised, which usually results in lower costs and internet access is also more stable since they are not moved around.
   • Disadvantages: The most obvious is that they are not particulary portable and it is tend to be more complicated since all the components.

2. Laptop computers

   • Advantages: is is very portability, everything is in one single unit and they can link into any multimedia system
   • Disadvantages: they can be easy to steal and they have limited battery life

3. Tablets

   • Advantages: very fast to switch on, fully portable and dont generate any heat
   • Disadvantages: They often have limited memory and typing on a touch screen can be slow

4. smartphones

   • Advantages: They are very small in size and lightweight it is useful to make phone calls
   • Disadvantages: it easy to lose, they dont have a big memory size and some systems are not compatible

5. smartwatches

   • Disadvantages: are large and bulky, they are unattractive in design and apps are clearly and permits the use of battery.
   • Advantages: They are convenient than smartphones since the technology gives notification to the wrist and they are easy to use.

6. Mainframe computers

   • Advantages: They have huge amount of storage capacity and they have very fast processor speeds
   • Disadvantages: They often operate using time sharing or batch processing
