Methodology

1. Soak one piece of wood/cardboard in water and freeze overnight. Build a ramp using several books and a normal piece of wood/cardboard. Measure the height of the books and ramp angle. Place the block onto the ramp. Measure how fast it reaches the bottom of the ramp. Repeat the trial four more times and record your results in the data table. Conduct the same experiment (steps 2–6) with the icy wood. A longer ramp HP: If I do this on the ramp then the block will travel a longer distance, because we extend the ramp. Change your dependent variable a third time, and repeat the steps.

2. First we take the cardboard under the cardboard we place 3 big books making a ramp when we have our ramp reday we let the block roll down and count how many time dose it takes to get to the end of the cardboard.
