Zero Conditional
- we use zero conditional to talk about things that are always or generally true
- Example: If I drive into town, I pay for parking.
- We use the simple present in both the if clause ant the main clause.
- Example: If you drive on a highway, you don t see any traffic lights.
- We can use when instead of if in the if clause.
- if people use publictransportation, there is less traffic= when people use public transportation, there is less traffic.

First Conditional
- We use the first conditional tl talk about something that is possible in the future
- Example: If you go for a walk in the park, you will feel better
- We use the simple present in the if clause, and we use the future with will in the main clause.
- Example: If Dennis moves to the city, we won t see him feel better
- We can also use a modal verb ( can, must, should, etc) or the imperactive instead of will in the main clause.
- Example: if we meet at the entrance, we can go in together.
- Example 2: if you see tanya at the bus stop, tell her to call me.
- We can use unless instead of if not in the if clause
- Example: if the bus doesn t comes soon , I ll take ti the train station.
- Example 2: Unless the bus comes soon, I ll take to the train station.

- If I were yoou, I would make a plan
- We use the simple past in the if claue, and would + a main verb in the main clause
- If Sally lived in the city, she wouldn t need a car
- We can also use a modal verb (could, might, etc.) instead of would in the main clause.
- If I lived downtown, I could get to work more quickly
- We can use were instead of was in the if clause
- If john was/were here, I d ask him for advice.
